Position Summary:

New Generation Supplements is seeking a dynamic individual to join their team as an Accounts Payable and Inventory Coordinator. We are a cattle supplement manufacturing company with multiple production facilities and a dealer/distributor network that covers the Central and Western United States and Central Canada. The workplace will be on-site at our Poteau, OK production facility. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be a skilled multitasker, very detail oriented, and an enthusiastic problem solver. This position requires the ability to manage large amounts of incoming phone calls while maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward the customer.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Position starts at $19.50/hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data using 3-way matching.
  • Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements.
  • Generate reports detailing accounts payables status.
  • Understand expense accounts and cost centers.
  • Generate checks for payment of accounts payable from list selected by management.
  • Understand compliance issues around accounts payable processes (W-9, sales tax, etc.).
  • Record production of finished goods and the use of raw materials in the production of finished goods.
    • Maintain inventory and production records and filing systems related to such.
    • Reconcile physical inventory counts of all finished goods stock daily and all stock monthly.
    • Ensure all documentation related to inventory flows is complete, accurate and filed correctly. Identify, analyze and address gaps in inventory processes.
  • Process the bill of lading to confirm receipt of the goods and maintain log of all incoming raw materials and packaging.
  • Calculate usage of packaging materials based on production and pallet builds to ensure accuracy of month-end inventory adjustments.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities in line with the needs of the business.
