StressEze Starter: For high-risk receiving cattle & sick animals

Home/MegaLic/StressEze Starter (US)

In many cattle feeding situations, feedlot operators are confronted with receiving high-risk cattle that may have been weaned on the truck, have no background history, can be mixed-sex, may include intact males, could be sick upon arrival… the list goes on. MegaLic® StressEZE Starter tubs are designed specifically for receiving and sick pen cattle upon arrival at the feedlot regardless of the animal’s background. StressEZE Starter is a palatable, self-fed supplement that allows receiving cattle to lick nutrients free-choice as opposed to competing with cattle at the bunk.

StressEZE Starter is designed for high-risk receiving cattle (first 28 days in lot) and/or pens of sick animals. This formula can also be used in natural programs.

Feeding Directions

Provide free choice as a supplement to pasture cattle or cattle in dry lot at the rate of one block for each 15 to 25 head. Place in lot or pasture near areas frequented by livestock, such as watering locations, shade or loafing areas. Cattle typically consume 3/4 pound per head daily. Consumption may vary depending on climate, grazing conditions, condition of livestock and/or availability of other feeds. In situations where climate and/or other factors result in consumption less than 3/4 pound per head daily, StressEze Starter consumption may be increased slightly by providing additional blocks in each pasture or lot. Provide access to fresh water and free choice salt at all times.
